"For Such a Time as This" is our sermon series for our 2021 Season of Stewardship. It takes its name from the biblical Book of Esther. At a crucial moment in the story, Esther's uncle, Mordecai, proposes that perhaps God had placed Esther in her position "for just such a time as this;" a time that called her to stand with courage and act boldly on behalf of others. In this series, we explore what kind of church God is calling us to be--what kind of faith is needed--in this crucial historical moment we are living through.
